Trading Overview
When using trading overview, you have the ability to choose your own criteria, while you cannot schedule a report, you can save a Layout. You will find this option in the Left Hand Corner of the screen once you have selected your criteria and hit the “Process” button, When you wish to run a saved layout you will select the “Process” button and then the
“Load Layout” button. Listed below are steps to create a “Sales Report” using Trading Overview, however the first steps are required no matter what report you wish to run, unlike Report Generator, these reports may take much longer to generate the data depending on the Transaction dates chosen and how many items or customers you wish to report on.
Example Report
This report is the simplest report to run to get a better understanding of your sales trends. Much like the other sales reports, this one allows you to view overall sales data, and also the ability to have it broken down into dispensary and front of shop by department.
1. Reports
2. Trading Overview
3. Select Transaction Date
4. Select Items/Customers
5. Process
6. When The Display Configuration Screen opens, select the following criteria:
7. Location (pre-selected)
8. Department Level 1 (Left side of page)
9. Department Level 2 (Left side of page)
10. Sales Ex + HIC (pre-selected)
11. GP $ (Right Hand side of page)
12. GP % (Right Hand side of page)
13. QTY (Right Hand side of page)
14. Display Configuration Screen other selections may include COGS, SOH, etc.
15. Click Green Continue Button.
16. When the system has built the report, it will open on the opening page, at this point you can export to excel.
