Searching for Deceased Patient in Dispense Works

1. Open Dispense Works.

2. Select "Tools" in the top left corner.

3. Select "Patent Maintenance" and search the patient.

4. Once you have the correct patient selected, select "Edit Patient".

5. In the Patient Details, select "Patient Preferences" and in the drop down list called Patient Status will determine if the patient is active or inactive etc.

Note:
A customer will be set as active automatically.
A deceased patient can only be searched in Patient Maintenance (unless you change the status).
A deleted patient will be completely erased and unable to retrieve back.
A inactive customer or an undefined customer will not be visible on the main search page, you can search for an inactive customer in patient maintenance. (Like searching for a deceased customer).
