Ensure that, in conjunction with needles and syringes, there are small sharps containers for sale in the pharmacy to encourage the safe disposal of clinical waste and sharps. Ensure the sharps containers have appropriate warning labels
Observation the pharmacy has small sharps containers for sale as required.

- Sharps available for purchase from Symbion - PDE 275298, 275301
- Please check with your local area council whether they provide a Sharps Removal Program
