How to Process a Hire
1. Scan the Customer’s Loyalty Card or find their profile through Customer Search (or if not add the customer as a member) 2.Click Activity and New Hire 3.Ask the Customer how many days they intend on hiring the Item and select the relevant profile listed: 4.Select the Serial No. labelled on the Hire Item 5.Select the matching Hire Deposit Item and inform the Customer how their deposit will be refunded(refer to terms of Hire Agreement) 6.Review the Hire Summary with the Customer 7.Once the transaction is finalised, two copies of the Hire Agreement will print. If Eftpos tenderwas used, staple the Merchant receipt to the Store’s copy of the Hire Agreement. 8.Refer the Customer to a senior supervisor and have them sign the Hire Agreement 9.Give the Customer their copy and keep the Store’s one in a safe place note: Most stores use a plastic sleeve folder marked ‘Store Hire Book’ to keep their signed Hire Agreements. This is a great way of filing multiple receipts, paperwork etc.

How to Return a Hire
1.Select Activity and Find Hire 2.Select the Customer Hire and select Return Hire 3.Select Yes 4.Follow the prompts to finish the transaction i.e. if paid in cash, return in cash, if paid by Eftpos, return by Eftpos to the same card

How to Extend Return Date for a Hired Item
Within the CSP Register Program: Login using your POS Works User credentials. Select Hire. Select Recall Hire. Select the required serial number. Select Extend Hire. Enter the number of days the hire will be extended by. Select OK. A Prompt message will appear. 'Are you sure you want to extend this hire for (#) days? Yes/ No' Select Yes. Select method of payment . Select tender amount from list OR enter cash amount using decimal. Select OK. Once the transaction is completed the program will return back to the Login Screen.

NDSS Process Guide
If the patient is NOT a Blooms Loyalty Customer use the first process. Patient's who do not hold a Blooms Loyalty Card 1. Scan NDSS item into a sale - Item will load at regular sell price 2. Select Customers on side menu 3. Select Local Search 4. Ensure "Local store customers only" is unticked 5. Type 'NDSS' into the Company Name & click Search 6. Select the correct pricing point for the customer 7. Pricing will update to correct amount based on NDSS Pricing 8. Continue sale as normal ____________________________________________________________________________________ If the patient IS a Blooms Loyalty Customer use this process below. Patient's who hold a valid Blooms Loyalty Card. 1. Search the customer in "customers" and or scan the customers card 2. Once loaded, in the top left corner and select "update" 3. In Update, select "NDSS Group" and select the group accordingly. If you are unsure you can find this on the NDSS Portal when selecting their items. 4. Once updated, put through the sale as normal. (This can include other OTC/DISP items) Ensure that you confirm and update the customer accordingly as their NDSS group can change.
