How to update your NASH (National Authentication Service for Health) Certificate
Dispense Works will alert and count down every day from 30 days prior to your NASH Certificate expiring this will be in the pre-flight checks before loading Dispense Works. Please update your NASH urgently as to complete the entire process can take over 2 weeks and not having this certificate will lose the stores ability to dispense e-scripts. If you have already downloaded the new NASH Certificate from PRODA, please please raise a ticket here: Update my NASH Certificate To download a new NASH Certificate: 1. Log in to your individual PRODA account here. 2. You will be prompted to enter the authentication code sent by either SMS or email. Please enter and press next. 3. Select go to service on the Health Professional Online Services (HPOS) tile. 4. Select no organisation and proceed as an individual only, click continue. 5. Select my programs. 6. Select Healthcare Identifiers and My Health Record tile. 7. Then select health care identifiers – manage existing records. 8. Select my organisation details. 9. The organisation screen will display. Select the Certificates tab on the far right. In the red box below, select “Renew” and then select “request a NASH PKI Site Certificate.” 10. Ensure your mobile number is correct on the NASH Certificate request form. Select the two tick boxes below and save your changes. 11. When selecting save changes, the window below will display below, please select submit. 12. Once you have received the text message your certificate is ready to download via the download link. 13. Please create a folder on your desktop called NASH, and once you have downloaded the file, please add it into the folder. 14. PRODA will send you a text message to your mobile with a PIC (number) Code. This number will also need to be added into the NASH Folder. Right click in the NASH folder > Select New – Text Document > type in the Password DO NOT include the full stop at the end. 15. Once saved in the folder, please raise a ticket here: Update my NASH Certificate Please note this can take more than 2 weeks to complete. Thank you. Extending your B2B Device
Dispense Works will alert and countdown everyday from 30 days prior to your B2B PRODA Device expiring this will be in the pre-flight checks before loading Dispense Works. 1. Log into your PRODA account here. 2. You will be prompted to enter the authentication code sent by either SMS or email. Please enter and press next. 3. Select organisations as seen below. 4. Scroll down to My Organisations and select the appropriate name. 5. Once selected, scroll down till you see the "extend B2B Device Expiry" 6. Follow the prompts and accept to extend the enquiry. 7. Please close and re-open Dispense Works to see this change. 8. To see if this has translated correctly, the pre-flight checks will not show and or once logged into Dispense Works, you can navigate into tools, then into PRODA. 9. This will show the following. Registering a new PRODA B2B Device
The pharmacy will have to register a B2B (Business to Business) device (one computer per pharmacy) in order for Dispense Works to talk to PBS for the full documentation please click on Managing B2B Devices Documentation. To register a device please use the following steps: 1.Log into PRODA and select organisations. 2.Select the organisation name you would like to register the device to. 3.Manage my organisation menu should appear, select B2B Devices and then select Register New B2B Device 4.Enter the device name (when registering a device, we recommend for the device name to be DW_[pharmacy approval number] e.g, if your pharmacy approval number is 12345X then the device name will be DW_12345X) 5.The device is now registered with PRODA, you will receive an activation code. Activating a New PRODA B2B Device
BEFORE ACTIVATING A NEW PRODA DEVICE IN DISPENSE WORKS PLEASE CLOSE THE CURRENT PBS CLAIM. To activate a new PRODA device in Dispense Works: 1. After completing the above steps navigate to Dispense Works > Tools > PRODA > Activate New Device. 2. Copy and paste the newly generated details from PRODA into Activate New Device, for example: ▪ Activation Code: KxRyuv00Zv ▪ Device Name: DW_10013B ▪ PRODA RA: 8959348063 3. Click the Activate button to activate the newly registered device – please wait for the success pop-up to appear. 4. The Current Device panel should now show the details for the new PRODA device – If the current device is not valid, please contact Dispense Works support. 5. Reactivating Expired PRODA B2B Device
1. Log into your PRODA account here. 2. You will be prompted to enter the authentication code sent by either SMS or email. Please enter and press next. 3. Select organisations as seen below. 4. Scroll down to My Organisations and select the appropriate name. 5. Once the appropriate device has been selected, select generate new code. 6. Once a New Device Activation Code has been generated in PRODA, navigate back to Dispense Works > Tools > PRODA > Activate New Device. 7. Copy and paste the newly generated details in activate new device. 8. Select Activate and please wait for the success pop-up to appear. 9. Close and re-open Dispense Works on all terminals. PRODA B2B Device Expiry Notifications
If your PRODA B2B device expires within the next 30 days, you will be notified every time you start Dispense Works. Every time Dispense Works is started, a pre-flight check will be displayed with the Message ’Current PRODA device will expire in X days’ with X being the number of days remaining until the device has expired, which will count down each day until the device is extended or expired. Similarly, when the current PRODA B2B has expired, a pre-flight check will be displayed alerting you to reactivate the device. When the PRODA B2B device has expired, prescriptions will go into Pending until the device is reactivated in Dispense Works. If you have extended your B2B device in PRODA and you are getting the ‘Current PRODA device has expired’ pre-flight check, ensure you have clicked the Refresh button under Current B2B Device in Dispense Works.
